Foot Care Pride

I am a proud foot care nurse, and I never feel anything but pride when I tell people what I do for a living.  However, if I had a dollar for every time I heard, ‘“FEET?  Really?  And that's ALL you do?”’ I wouldn’t have to work at all.  I mean, I get it- feet are not the most glamorous or best-smelling body part of all time.  But they are SO important to all things mobility and balance, especially for the adult and bolder adult population; as we all can imagine, when the feet hurt, eventually other things become sore or stiff.  We step differently when there is a sore foot bone or a painful callus, and that throws the body’s foundation off.  Makes sense, right?  Mobility, activity, and health are precious and vital to seniors, and my work contributes to that trifecta.  It’s important, and I’m honored and privileged to trim and file these amazing feet for these amazing clients.  It’s that simple, and it’s that important.

I am a foot care nurse, and I’m here to help.
